Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus is undergoing a $10 million project that expands and revamps its emergency and intensive care units. The facility is a Level III trauma center, designated in 2014, and the project is designed to help the Northlake campus accommodate the increase in trauma cases. This project expands the number of beds in the ED and ICU. The project will be done in multiple phases, in order to allow the ED to remain open and function throughout the project. Skanska is the construction manager on the project and Arctic Engineering is providing the HVAC (sheetmetal and piping) and plumbing work for the project.
